Welcome to MediTime. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MediTime medication timer application, including both MediTime Lite and MediTime Pro versions (collectively, the "Services"), operated by MediTime Health Apps ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Services.
2. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
3. Products and Services
MediTime is a medication timer application designed to help users track and manage Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) and Ibuprofen doses for themselves and family members. The Services are available in two versions:
- MediTime Lite: A free version that allows tracking of up to 2 family members and includes basic medication timing functionality.
- MediTime Pro: A premium version available for a one-time fee that allows tracking of up to 5 family members and includes additional features such as light/dark themes, detailed dose history, and an undo feature.
Both versions are Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) that can be installed on compatible devices and used offline.
Important: MediTime is designed as a convenient tool to assist users in tracking medication doses and timing. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical questions or conditions.
4. Using MediTime
By using our Services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or are using the Services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- You will use the Services in accordance with these Terms.
- You will not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- You will not violate any laws in your jurisdiction while using the Services.
The information provided by the Services is for general informational purposes only. All information is provided in good faith, but we make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, adequacy, validity, reliability, availability, or completeness of any information provided by the Services.
5. Purchases and Payments
MediTime Pro is available for purchase at a one-time fee of £2.99. We use secure third-party payment processors to handle transactions. By making a purchase, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase information, including:
- Your payment method information
- Billing address
- Any other information required to complete the transaction
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected. Your purchase of MediTime Pro grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the premium features for an unlimited period.
6. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final and non-refundable once the purchase is complete. However, if you believe there has been an error with your purchase or you are experiencing significant technical issues that prevent you from using the Services, please contact our support team at support@meditime.uk within 7 days of purchase, and we will consider your request on a case-by-case basis.
7. Medical Disclaimer
MediTime is a timing and tracking tool only. The Services do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The content provided through our Services is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or accessed through our Services. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.
Warning: Always follow the dosage instructions provided with your medication or as advised by your healthcare provider. MediTime is designed to help track timing between doses, but the proper dosage amount should always be determined by medical professionals or package instructions based on factors like age, weight, and specific health conditions.
8. Intellectual Property
The Services, including all content, features, and functionality, are owned by MediTime Health Apps and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Services strictly in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Modify, copy, or create derivative works based on the Services
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Services
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the Services
- Transfer the Services or any of its components to another person or "mirror" them on any other server
- Use the Services in any way not expressly permitted by these Terms
9. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference, explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that MediTime operates as a Progressive Web App (PWA) that stores all medication timing and dose information locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal health information or medication data to our servers. All data remains on your device, providing you with complete privacy and control over your information.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall MediTime Health Apps, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Services
- Any content obtained from the Services
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
- Errors or inaccuracies in the Services or related information
- Any decision made or action taken based on information provided through the Services
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or our Services, regardless of the form of the action, shall be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to access or use our Services.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
